Gautam Cheema new SSP of Khanna police district

Khanna March 16: - Gautam Cheema will be the new SSP of Khanna police district.
Cheema replaced M.F.Farooqui who has been transferred to police training center at
Ladda Kothi in district Sangrur. Farooqui remained SSP of Khanna about one year as
he joined here in march last year. Gautam Cheema is an I.P.S. of 1995 batch. Cheema
served as SSP earlier at Moga, Majitha police district and Mansa. Cheema's first
posting was as ASP of Gurdaspur. Later he served as ASP Jalandhar, S.P. Jalandhar,
AIG(provisioning), S.P.(city) Patiala and S.P. Chief Minister security. It is expected that
Cheema will join his duty on Saturday.

A person seen in these pictures was
injured when stray dogs attacked
him. He was Going to his residence
when the dogs attacked him near
Badhla. The stray dog menace has
plagued the town. The municipal
council has not taken any steps to
control their population.

Only thing I could think after seeing
these pictures was “ if cops’ treat
injured human this way, How would
they treat injured animals!!!” No
wonder many people die in road
accidents due to poor first aid.
